1. Departure from Sal – Welcome on Board
Begin your adventure in Santa Maria, Sal, where our friendly crew will welcome you aboard our eco-friendly catamaran. After a safety briefing, set sail across the Atlantic Ocean towards Boa Vista, enjoying beautiful ocean views, the fresh sea breeze and a relaxing atmosphere on board.
2. Arrival in Boa Vista – Sal Rei
Upon arrival, discover Sal Rei, the charming capital of Boa Vista. Visit Fátima Church and explore the local Fish Market to experience the authentic atmosphere of the island.
3. African Market – Local Culture
Enjoy a pleasant walk from the pier through Sal Rei towards the African Market. Discover local products, explore the streets and enjoy a short coffee break.
4. Rabil – Traditional Pottery
Continue your adventure by bus to Rabil, a village known for its traditional pottery and local craftsmanship. Enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding landscape and towards Boa Vista Airport.
5. Pérgola de Chaves – Scenic Photo Stop
Stop at Pérgola de Chaves to admire the scenery and capture memorable photographs of Boa Vista.
6. Lunch – 1:00 PM
Enjoy a relaxing lunch at a local restaurant near Windclub, taking time to savour the island’s atmosphere.
7. Return to the Catamaran – 2:00–2:30 PM
After discovering Boa Vista, return to the catamaran at approximately 2:00–2:30 PM. Relax on board and enjoy the Atlantic Ocean views during the return journey to Sal.

Are the catamaran excursions suitable for non-swimmers?
Yes! You do not need to know how to swim to enjoy our catamaran excursions. Life jackets are available on board, and our professional crew provides safety instructions.
During our 3-hour Sal coastal cruise, the swimming stop is optional. Guests who prefer not to swim can relax on board and enjoy the ocean views.
Can I bring my own snorkeling equipment?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own snorkeling equipment for use during the swimming stop on our 3-hour Sal cruise, weather and sea conditions permitting.
Snorkeling equipment is not provided by KABU Experiences.
What happens if sea conditions are not suitable for the excursion?
Your safety is our priority. Our crew carefully evaluates weather and sea conditions before each departure.
If conditions are unsafe, the excursion may be modified, rescheduled or cancelled. Our team will inform guests of the available options in accordance with the booking conditions.
